You got such great pics of the duck/goose feeding!
Violet had an absolute blast at the cookie decorating party and asked when Kate might be hosting one again.
We all enjoyed the cookies very much–especially Paco who I caught on top of the counter last night, licking all the frosting off of one. He’s crashed out today in a sugar coma.

Kate, thank you for fundraising for the MS society!!! It means a lot to me that you would work so hard for a cause that is important to me. I bet the lemonade was awesome.

Side note, you need someone who wears make-up to show you how to put it on. Your mother is so beautiful that she can get away with not wearing any. I have a feeling you won’t need it either, but can use it as a fun form of colorful expression.

Oh my —– I’m pretty sure there is NOT a funnier, loveliar little girl in this whole world !! You have so many wonderful qualities, talents, abilities, quirks, expressions, sayings, traits, etc. All totally delightful in my eyes! I’m sure your Mama was also a funny, lovely, little girl with some similiar traits. And I know for certain that your dad was so funny, so clever, so creative, so sensitive, so wonderful, and so much fun. He used to have tea parties with his bear, and maybe even with a doll at one time. Ask him about that some day.

I love you so much, and I am so proud to be part of your life — I just wish it could be more often and in closer vicinity.

Date night with Dad – by candlelight – wonderful! Wish I could do that with my Dad.

Kate, this blog is going to be so wonderful when you peruse it in later years. Both my parents are gone – your Poppaw and Mudge. I wish I had something to look back at to recall lovely moments we shared.

I like my toes red and green – especially at Christmas time.

So MUCH to catch up on.

Grandpa and I have a picture of you in our house in Abbeville where you are sitting in your crib, smiling through the bars – your own sweet sassy self! I adore that picture!

And now look at your sassy self. Polishing your own toenails! I think I was 12 before I tried that!

I love the pictures of you and your friends. You look like you are having so much fun. And I love the pictures of you helping your Daddy washing his model car pieces. You’re a good helper. And you told me he is going to paint the car RED!

I am going to get out there, I promise you. Will you paint my toenails? I would LOVE that!

Keep having tea parties with Duck (what a dog), and being sweet to your Mama and Daddy.
